The McKinley Library serves P.S. 63 (The William McKinley School) and P.S. 363 (The Neighborhood School) in New York City. History Our Library was made possible with a major grant from the Carnegie Corporation. The Library was designed by architect Andrew Knox of Edelman Sultan Knox Wood / Architects LLP. Construction began in 2004; the library opened in 2005. That means we will be celebrating our fifth birthday this year! Mission Statement The mission of the McKinley Library is to work cooperatively to support the learning of all members of P.S. 63 (The William McKinley School) and P.S. 363 (The Neighborhood School). The library program will promote the love of reading, inspire curiosity, and cultivate the skills that are necessary for critical thinking and lifelong learning. ![]() Images created by the Wordle.net web application are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 United States License. |
